For years WordPower Sabah brought people together through storytelling festivals, theatre, writing and communication workshops. Our new project, Local Stories, turns that love of storytelling towards our own community.

We collect, keep and share the stories of Sabah: the heritage, food, people, places, businesses and culture that shape our home. Every approved story gets its own permanent page, a unique Story ID and a QR code, and every storyteller becomes a recognised Local Story Representative.
